i think my fav part about french is that half their words use too few vowels and then there are some words like oui that are only vowels

@nire @mux2000 'eau', a trigramme for one phoneme /o/, and it furthermore gets a silent 'x' in plural ('eaux'). Pronounced the same way as 'au', 'oh' and 'ô'.

This reminds me that my given name has 9 letters for 5 phonemes.
