my new team lead and hr contact are being so sweet, already ordering me new gear and asking me for an intro blurb to send to the new team. i feel so good about this job move. so so so happy to be moving on somewhere where i feel more valued, and where the environment is more conducive to me doing good work.

@guerrillarain it's basically just one of your standard picks attached to a source of rapid vibration to jog the tumblers hyper fast. you don't need accuracy when you have high frequency, basically. and that's why the DIY solutions always talk about electric toothbrushes, since they're about the right size and shape, super cheap, and easy to mount a pick onto the end of. hell, you can buy multiple toothbrush ends and mount different kinds of picks onto different heads you can swap if you want. it's a great cyberpunk phys-sec intrusion thing. 😄

@guerrillarain ahhh I miss lockpicking. had a practice padlock in my room for a while in my early 20s, used to sit there and just fiddle with picking it using whatever bits of metal I have on hand while I watched TV. it was very satisfying, but I'm horribly out of practice now.
