@mimtschan @amphetamine yeah. I'm not saying it's easy to find. but it's definitely possible. signs I've learned to look for are:
- diversity on the engineering team, not just the company itself.
- especially women, gays, and people of colour.
- ask about anti-discrimination, harassment, and other similar social policies when talking HR stuff in interviews. if they have to think about the answers to those questions, it means they aren't serious about solving those problems.
- ask about process about tech decisions. are they dictated by some cis het white man at the top? or does the team make decisions about technical direction?
