the upside of sleeping so long last is i had this really intense dream that was really cool.

dreamt i was part of a team teraforming planets. it was the far future and we'd conquered faster than light travel and matter conversion (and naturally death and scarcity). a planet had been teraformed in a distant solar system and i was in charge of verifying it was good to live on, reviewing the results. i could change into a bird and i flitted on the wind across its alien landscape, covered with familiar trees and plants and grass and cities. so empty but so welcoming. all ready for us.
