i'm trying to get a new job that's remote work, so that i can spend more time with @punsandpotions, but the job i'm currently looking at also has the benefit of getting work for a queer lady manager for the first time in my career.

my current job isn't bad. it's so far the best job i've had in tech. but just had an interaction with my cishet white upper middleclass ablebodied boss that reminded me of why i wanna leave.

we're doing a hackathon next week, and a project i wanna work on with some other people is code anonymization for candidates applying here, and getting it ready to open source. which would be awesome! and a great thing to contribute to the world!

and he goes "ehhhh, I don't see the value in this" and I'm just like "uhhh well I think it has lots of value for helping our diversity and inclusion efforts" and he's like "well everyone I interview is just a guy anyway" and I'm just like "........."
