So idk how to phrase this, but like, I cannot see myself as queer even though I consider other pan and bi people as queer. Like I don't know why but I feel like an intruder in the lgbtq community, even though I am 100% attracted to women and non-binary peeps and have had relationships with both.

@guerrillarain i feel very very similar. Part of it, I think, is that I've lived so long as straight-presenting that I feel like a phony. Or just that I have nothing to add, and I don't want to take up space that others can use more effectively.

@beezyal @guerrillarain here's the thing though... there isn't a limit on space, and in fact, a big part of being in the community is taking up space that people outside the community doesn't want us to occupy. we want you here. you're one of us. and we're better for your presence. both of you. 💖

I'm pan, but only recently admitting it… and I totally have queer impostor syndrome. I mean, looking to everyone like a happy cishet white guy for forty years, married to a cis woman for almost 20 years now and probably forever, I feel have no right to even claim the term.

Anyway… I just saw these feelings… thought maybe you all were kindred spirits… you're not alone. ❤️
