I know therapy, hotlines, smiling & being positive at all make you cringe & you look at people who are happy now or say they recovered and you think "must be great to be that person but i could never do that, i'm so much worse off there's no hope for me."
as someone whose life stated in a CULT and went downhill from there. Someone who got diagnosed with what has been called a "terminal mental illness." Who attempted 4 times.
I went to therapy pessimistic and convinced I couldn't get better. I got better.
