firstly they don't even have their own search algorithm, they re-package bing's iirc.

more importantly even if they did they still have a capitalist class character (not necessarily because they set out to, but because they didn't set out not to and it was created by capitalists in a capitalist society) and would uncritically accept capitalist mouthpieces like Washington Post and CNN to be legitimate sources of truth.

i use ddg, but it's not revolutionary

we need a people's search engine that marks, down-ranks, and/or outright omits capitalist and imperialist propaganda from search results
