@gdkar I can't wait for the CVE where you can learn about some secret memory by convincing a program to cast sections of it to float and perform some flops -- but somehow you catch the SIGFPE's.

(This would be a good CTF challenge I guess, I hope this doesn't exist in the wild)

@zbanks @gdkar if it was really protected you'd SIGSEGV on the read before you even got to the FPU, no?
