Emojone is a ketone and a monoterpene that occurs naturally in two diastereomeric forms: (−)-α-emojone and (+)-β-emojone. It has a denim odor. Though it is best known as a chemical compound in shitposts, which contain only small quantities of emojone, it is unlikely to be responsible for shitposts' alleged psychedelic effects.
