i am on sertralin, but i don't think that that's it because I've been on it for a year now but had eating trouble before that already.

i just literally can't taste much, and I'm not sure if that's the definition of not having an appetite, or a cause for it?

I'll try and get the antacids tomorrow, but i don't have the spoons to go to a doctor rn 🙈 i will try next week if the esophagus stuff doesn't get better tho.

@Coradeilinae mmhhh not per see??? but it's more like, when i swallow it feels afterwards like something is stuck in my throat again and that hurts, even when i just drink. (and that makes me scared of swallowing wrong again.)

@LottieVixen everyone always tells me that haha, but i feel like that's nothing i do consciously or can even help, my brain just gets like that at some point and is like "ok nah i'm finde with this you can't make me"
i just hate to think that workload wise the semester really isn't that much and i could so it easily, or so i expect, but I'm just giving up now.

so apparently I'm not even trying to do anything for uni anymore? I'm at this point where I'm not even anxious about it so much because i care so little. i think of it, and then I'm like, nah not doing it.
i do still want to quit the semester, but i still don't know how to just drop the class where we're working in a team of two. and I'm also not comfortable with quitting the one with a group of three.

i can be super hungry and still fight to make it through a meal. actually that's most of the time. my appetite doesn't tend to align with my hunger at all. sometimes I'll be disappointed by meals I've previously enjoyed because i just can't taste them properly anymore. the question "what to eat"always hovers above my head as something i don't wanna deal with. especially if i get hungry in the evening and have to make myself a snack. I'm happy about any excuse to miss a meal. I'm incredibly picky about what i do eat and i hate most consistencies and there's just nothing i indefinitely enjoy.

honestly? i feel at this point like i have some kind of eating disorder. i do eat regularly, but my appetite is absolutely terrible & eating is nothing but a chore for me that i wanna get over with. honestly if somebody offered me to never have to eat again but always be fully nutritioned & never hungry Id take it

i just dont get it? most of the time everything just tastes incredibly bland to me, like when you're sick & can't taste much. a couple times weed helped me with that but at this point not even that works anymore.

i have no clue what doctor to go to with this, & the ones Ive mentioned it with (diabetes experts mostly) dismissed it.

ok uh so my upper back/chest area (probably my esophagus??) still really hurts and so does swallowing, it kinda feels like i keep choking on my food?
this isn't helping my anxiety OR my appetite problems and at this point i just want to avoid eating altogether?
what could this hecking be that i swallow a pill wrong once and then am in pain for over a day? it's freaking me out and annoying too
