we have a PS4, and @shelco asked me to buy her The Sims 4, so i bought 15 months worth of membership for Playstation Plus, and €20 for EA's Origin store.

maybe then they'd also grow a ticker skin.

i have this theory that culture, and cultural change travels across language lines

assimilation of culture is easier when you have grounds for understanding, otherwise you end up with a copy that looks like the original, but functions completely unexpectedly

transmutation, however is natural to the process. it happens more over distance (space/time), but most of all, for local context

finally, forcing culture, results in adoption thru least resistance (change), and unexpected side-effects.

update on meds: i haven't even taken them today, and i'm still nauseaus & drooling

i've only once cut my hand while slicing an 🥑 , and that experience didn't transform me into a vengeful cartoony evil scientist who's only goal in life is to destroy 🥑 pits, so, i guess i don't get it

every time i switch windows on my computer, i forget what i was doing before, and switch to that task

it's a wonderful way of getting precisely nothing done.
