Okay I actually am getting pretty fucked up about this surgery thing. Holy shit. It's kind of like I need to relearn all of my coping mechanisms or something.
@Maenad honest question: are you freaking out about the surgery because it's dangerous, or because surgeries freak you out?

also because the recovery time is long and a lot of my current coping mechanisms involve being fairly mobile.
