like all paragraph saying x, followed by paragraph arguing the same thing, but CONTRADICTING x were meh, and expected
but each footnotes is actually a massive boot to the gut
they are parentheticals, there to establish background thoughts and all they actually establish is that this person has zero understanding of context and constraints, and no research skills whatsoever. how is this person an engineer?, i don't understand.
