@bea can you imagine how many papers i would've read if it wasn't for sci-hub?
@meena i would have read many still, but fewer, and my friends with institutional access would be much more annoyed with me
@bea like, yeah a lot of the papers i read are (sort of availablish) on nih or are from plosone, or are comp-sci papers that actually are just open, but, like, 90% of all papers i wanted to read from ACM weren't available to me, even as a member of the ACM. wtf.
