Where did the bunny go? To try to hide behind a tree in my neighbour's yard, where I could see it, for the rest of the time I was mowing. After putting mower away, I came back to make sure it had found a real hiding place. It hadn't.
Today, I met the stupidest bunny. I was mowing my overgrown lawn when three bunnies scattered in front of me. I turned the mower off to make sure they were all out the way. One bunny had decided to hide from me. Under the mower. And tried to pretend to not exist when nudged. I had to pick it up to move it. It then screamed and ran away.

Talk with my CTO about improving our parental leave policy went well. They are actively figuring out how much they can afford, so I am reasonably optimistic that there will be an actual improvement.
The result of my email is that I am meeting with the CTO today to talk about how to improve our parental leave policy. I have been frantically researching what other companies offer and mentally preparing my arguments.
I am nervous.
Found out my company's mat/pat leave policy was....poor. I have sent an email to the co-founders pointing out that is, you know, maybe a contributing factor to why women don't want to work here.
I was more diplomatic than that; but I am nervous about potential outcomes.

I spent the day reviewing applications for co-op students to pick which ones to interview.
It sucked. I missed coding. But being willing to do it means I can try to make sure we hire fairly.
It hurt. I couldn't interview everyone who I thought could do a terrific job, I had to filter people for bullshit reasons.
