How did it go? Does the "X" represent removing the corresponding element?
Without that element, it looks like a modified "astable" configuration, except adapted to allow some form of input? The one thing that stands out is the diode bridging R61, and the "reset" pin being set as the input of the timer, instead of being tied high.
The way the diode is set up, it'd limit the voltage across R61 to be ~0.7V at most?
And that "neos" resistor, from my searching, would be a "ballast" resistor, used to limit provided current?
If I had to guess, it'd have to be an interruptible astable timer?
