posting once again in hopes that someone can give some help with apmd resume not working on #openbsd because i've no idea where to start

on resume the disks unpark, cd drive spins up etc, but it doesn't respond to keyboard input other than the light on the mute indicator, and the screen doesn't turn on at all

only thing i can do is force shutdown and turn it back on, and there's no indication of issues on suspend in the logs

urgh, hit the acpi hibernate combo while trying to switch desktops

i really need to fix that whole mess, it seems to resume properly mostly, except it doesn't respond to anything or turn the display back on

when you can go up the stairs without your knee hurting at all for once, but then strain a tendon in your left wrist picking up your laptop at an awkward angle
