i love how tech hype has turned docker from "here's these neat things that can alleviate software deployment issues in some scenarios" to "we refuse to acknowledge that anyone could conceivably have any technical issues with deploying this software because it's in a docker container"
"you don't have to mess with dependencies and configuration" then why do so many people seem to have questions about how to deal with docker's...dependencies and configuration?
