@mallaidh film was generally expensive tbh, this about matches what the 35mm reels i bought in my first few years of photography cost
which means i only got to take pictures a couple times a year >.>
i think i got my first digital camera when i was 10 or 11
@kit unfortunately there isn't even the option to save a few bucks by just getting b&w, since the prices are the same
now i'm on a tangent and imagining polaroids of my fursonas, a somewhat happier thought
@kit digital is definitely cool for like, just taking pictures all the time and not having to care
i just wish the camera we had could do more than 12x optical since most of what i do is wildlife
@mallaidh mm, that's where telephoto lenses and stuff come into play i suppose
@kit i don't think this camera really does interchangeable lenses, it's more just a point and shoot
unless there's still film available for my dad's old minolta, but i'm sure it's plenty expensive now...
