definitely the best thing about javascript is how every time i write "print" instead of "console.log" it tries to actually literally send the document to the printer

nullpointer has like, wildly exceeded my expectations but it's still not nearly as much as i need, turns out things are expensive
part of me wants my next game to be not procedural but if i were to do that i'd probably want to invest in like, probuilder and stuff so i don't tear my hair out, and with some other more pressing expenses i think that's a ways off. think i'm probably going to make another game with the tools i have and hope it makes enough to justify upgrading stuff
i wish i lived closer to the train station so i could go more often, the closest station with direct trains to nyc is in fairfield, an hour away ;w;

main problems with glass shark ver. 1 were:
- i didn't really understand react
- i didn't think enough about how to represent and store podcasts and episodes in memory and as data.
i think i've fixed both of these problems? but i'm just now starting on the subscription feature so time will tell
i've thrown up my hands and come crawling back to electron. javascript sucks, but i know more about it (and react) now so my second attempt at building a podcast player is going much better
