@typhlosion i've always found that it seems to function mostly to exclude people who don't know what it means from leftist discourse, seeing that it's just a pretentious way of saying "putting your beliefs into practice"
"radical practice" or "radical action" is way easier to understand but plenty of leftists (*COUGHTANKIESCOUGH*) are basically only in it because it lets them feel smart
