@HTHR yeah i mean that's tough because much like broad existential dread or a fear of heights it's not entirely unreasonable.
but also like existential dread i think the trick (and this is kind of impossible) is to internalize that you being worried about it does nothing to change the odds of it happening, and so all it's doing is wasting time
but of course that's just a lead-in to a spiral of feeling bad about feeling bad about feeling bad
so i think the best solution might be distraction, if you can manage it, and maybe action -- participation in organizing for disarmament, for instance
