it's always weird when people talk about how like some work of art is supposed to evoke dreams or whatever since there's literally nothing more boring than other people's dreams
though i actually think games might be uniquely suited to this kind of thing, like simulating dream logic, since in a game you get to actually like, have a dream rather than just have someone boringly narrate their dream to you
