racism as metaphor is always a fucking terrible idea. your hypothetical discrimination will *always* be different from actual real-life discrimination and SLAVERY. we can't just retreat into these magical worlds of pure logic where nothing exists but our thoughts. ANY time you are talking about discrimination you MUST keep in mind the actual, real suffering and death of actual, real people. philosophy is worthless if it can't tell us how to be better in the real world.
