i've thrown up my hands and come crawling back to electron. javascript sucks, but i know more about it (and react) now so my second attempt at building a podcast player is going much better
main problems with glass shark ver. 1 were:
- i didn't really understand react
- i didn't think enough about how to represent and store podcasts and episodes in memory and as data.
i think i've fixed both of these problems? but i'm just now starting on the subscription feature so time will tell
