@Cocoron unsurprised gosh. I've barely seen this reported though he's framed as a "veteran on tough financial times" even though he was discharged dishonorably
@knightly@Cocoron I think the really damning thing is that the Atomwaffen uniform is all black and skull mask and they posted before the shooting "keep an eye on texas tomorrow" and then someone in all black and a skull mask shot up a church in texas
@shel@knightly I don't understand why Neo-Nazis would attack a Christian church, though. Unless it really was supposed to be a false flag, and in that case they didn't do a very good job wearing the outfit of a Neo-Nazi group. Very confusing.
I wouldn't guess that this was so much of a coordinated Neo-Nazi false-flag attack as it is that various right-wing factions are all trying to take advantage of an allied or adjacent extremist going on a rampage that seems to be unrelated to the cause of fascism.
@knightly@lucianlutrae@Cocoron The stuff about fund transfers and blaming the left for it I think has less evidence for being planned and is probably just opportunist but that the shooter was alt-right seems pretty evident
Texas Shooting Afficher plus
@lucianlutrae @Cocoron @shel
Doesn't seem so to me.
