@Alamantus @linguangst not sure what you mean, but the link pasting should work with any type of link, no matter how weird it is! It actually fetches the URL and looks at the content, it doesn't try to parse it.

I keep getting a "503 Remote data could not be fetched" error. Maybe it's just the mastodon.social server having trouble again?
@Alamantus @linguangst Yes, this is probably a mastodon.social specific problem, or something up with cybre.space (pinging @chr)
@nightpool @linguangst @Alamantus i was under the impression mastodon.social has been having server problems this morning, may have affected that
also, there's been intermittent issues with requests erroring out on cybre.space -- i need to do a little investigation but i suspect updating to the latest mastodon code should help, which i'll have time to do later tonight
