I'm 29, cis lesbian in Canada (she/her pronouns)

I have a lot of hobbies and I tend to cycle through them, but the big ones are:

I have a bunch of mental health ~stuff~ going on, and I'm working very hard to be an emotionally stable person. I tend to do a lot of emotional labour and can get intense about things.

in school I studied knowledge integration, math, and art, so I know small bits about lots of different things.

I teach beginner knitting (which I love) and do tech support for my day job (which I hate)

I want to make friends, so talk to me!

I'm making a base, and I cleaned all the plant vines out of a ruined castle and now I'm organising all my loot into nicely lined up wall lockers and urrrg it feels really good and now it's 2am

apparently I really want games where I get to quietly clean up and organise things into boxes (LOOP was also good for this feeling)

I need to get more floor length skirts because I want all my clothes to feel like this

my girlfriend knows how long we've been dating, but I Do Not and I feel bad about it lol (it just keeps getting longer so it's very confusing)

I'm thinking about making a timeline of my various life events bc I've been finding it hard to remember the order of things sometimes, and I'd like something to refer to. I want to include major things, like when I started dating my girlfriend, but also stuff like when I started using linux and when my favourite colour switched.

I want it as a hard copy, maybe as a notebook? I've kept diaries sporadically in the past, but I tend to veer really hard into recording absolutely everything that happens and getting stressed when I miss stuff. but I think this would be low key enough I wouldn't get stuck in that.

one of my favourite tropes is "fantasy that's secretly science fiction" but the trouble with asking for recommendations based on that is that's pretty much always going to be a major spoiler.

ok well I have written several drafts of this and they all sound like shitposts bc emotionally vulnerable is not a safe thing to be with my parents
