@sed I feel a mix of different feelings when I look at it atm, so...hm. I mean, I have a lot of trouble remembering that I can/do accomplish things, so if it was helpful for reinforcing that, that could be really valuable. I think I'm going to try having it up for a bit and see how it goes (I can always reuse the frame for sth else)

@amphetamine mmmmmmm not really, I work from home and my place isn't that big (I tend to see most/all of the walls each day)

I'm trying to decide if I want to frame and hang my diploma or not (I just brought it back from my parents' place)

on one hand, framing and hanging things is one of my favourite things to do, plus maybe seeing it on the wall would remind me that I can/do accomplish stuff

but on the other hand I was extremely burnt out and furious about it for the last 2 years of my degree, and that's not really a period I want to remember

staying up as late as possible bc I really don't want to go back to work tomorrow yes there are no flaws in this plan

@deem I got the comic book of blue is the warmest colour bc books are so often better than the movie, but it had bullshit dead lesbian ending, so...the movie Could Have Been Worse, I guess. that's about the best thing I can say about it.

ok, gift for my dad is DONE

now I just need to knit the hat for my mum (which I can get most of done during the trip tomorrow, hopefully...)

then the gift making stress will be done and I can move on to the regular holiday/family stress instead yaaaay
