Mastodon needs notification grouping like what every other social media network has.
In my column it should say "Lorxus, Chosa, and 6 others florped your ping" and i can expand to see who. rather than showing it 8 times. Would especially help when ppl are liking every post in a thread
@shel i also desperately want multiple distinctly-customizably-filtered copies of the notification column to be possible. so i could for example have one for favs and boosts, and another for DMs, and another for non-DM mentions
