my initial install last september, in which i used Tron and Win10 Lite to hack out various features, has annoying quirks and surprisingly bad performance
for next, i was initially attracted to LTSB (long term servicing branch) which is basically launch W10 minus metro apps (even store), minus major updates like Anniv/Creators, and with continual security updates for 10 yrs
but i honestly like having Edge and i want the awful store/xbox integ. for occasional apps (phantom dust!). plus whatever major feature updates.
so i will try editing a Pro ISO down into a near-LTSB state with MSMG Toolkit. looks easy enough.
in research phase of next Windows 10 install Afficher plus
@lifning mm. i'm curious about the virtual surround audio they apparently added recently. area of interest for me. be nice if i could ditch my nice but aging sound card someday without losing good spatial 3D.
i expect that the major update chagnes will annoy me more than not, but i guess i have some preference for staying current for the few features i do appreciate
