(i know that there are people who dislike being called women but also im tired of 'identifies as' language being used as a way to say 'see, i'm trans inclusive' while still making a distinction between "women" and "people who identify as women")

i've been thinking about writing a fic where alex's sister visits and like, alex's family doesn't know that he's a government agent for security reasons so when she meets alex's Close Friend who also lives with him she just assumes they are dating

"haunting memories" has the best premise possible imo but so much of it is alex gazing longingly into the eyes of his gf of the week and it's kind of awkward and overwhelmingly straight

"heart of a dancer" is good but i kind of wish that instead of the hologram controller they had utilized actual dancing techniques that exist irl for people w/ paraplegia but o well. i guess there's fanfiction to fill the gap

my favorite episode of the wizard (having only seen a handful of episodes) is probably "twist of fate"; the plot is engaging and i like anthea a lot, also it's kind of Gay

i have ranted about this on twitter before but so much creepypasta (especially on nosleep) is written by college-aged cishet white guys and it is Painfully apparent in the writing

if you like ghost stories i Strongly recommend the anything ghost show podcast

it's a collection of personal ghost experiences sent in by listeners and they range from cute to very creepy and since theyre not fiction and also from a wide range of people they tend to contain less Bad Horror Tropes than most scary media does

i think the worst discourse i have seen on tumblr was probably "hetero doesnt mean man/woman attraction, it just means different genders so if someone is attracted to nonbinary people they are still straight"

i'm so glad about all the systems and plural groups on masto... it's especially cool to meet thoughtforms (nobody in our system was Intentionally created but we've found resources for thoughtform constructing can be really helpful nonetheless)
