remembering that boston legal featured a recurring sympathetic adult character w/ autism: nice
remembering that afaik his actor was neurotypical: Less Nice
law shows are terrible but i grew up on boston legal and i probably couldnt watch it now but i liked it as a kid
la law is trying to depict the character rappaport plays as Manipulative bc he plays on jury sympathy to win cases but i fucking love him
i remember the people running the wizard fansite mentioning that the show got a lot of fan letters from women w/ crushes on simon mckay and i'm really really glad
that feel when i am a lesbian EXCEPT my crushes on unattainable men (fictional characters or dead celebs) and idk what to make of it ever
"manipulative, unethical, histrionic" god, same

Do any mentally ill people or people with chronic illnesses have any advice on how to naturally get enough energy to get out of bed? Like are there any supplements/natural remedies that help you even a little bit?
time bandits au where theyre all playing a tabletop rpg together
i kind of want to get back into pathfinder but ENERGY.... i want to make a mesmerist character
@ThatVeryQuinn have you seen time bandits btw? it's very odd but i think you'd enjoy the humor

i want to draw fanart of the wizard to be quite frank but i mostly want alex/simon/darcy polycule content
i feel like the activism of artists who arent considered Professional Activists is constantly downplayed and i've been noticing it while reading about rappaport; idk if i'd call him An Activist but he hung around activists and a lot of his work that i'm familiar with has anti-ableism themes
i'd been put off by historical research for a long time bc my dad is a historian and primarily cares and talks about white cishet dudes and occasionally white cishet women and if disability comes up at all it's rarely in the context of activism (and its not something i can talk to him about because my dad... has a lot of internalized ableism honestly)
there's something very Validating about learning about the history of disability activism... idk if i have the time/energy to do so this visit but afaik my family still has writing by my great aunt, who had schizophrenia and was iirc involved in feminist circles also... i'm really really interested to know more about her life
