@alex it's hard to say- we haven't put in much of a coordinated effort towards it, though that, i think, is mostly a matter of our collective executive dysfunction. also obvs this isn't something that would work for everyone but we've found that weed helps a Lot, at least for the system mates that enjoy the effects

@alex if you don't mind me asking, is it a matter of her having trouble loosening control, so to speak? i ask because this is an issue that my system deals with too, and while we haven't found a solid solution yet, we've been thinking of looking into hypnosis to allow me to retreat more easily into headspace and for the others to be able to spend more time at the front

and i'm also Very aware of the fact that like... when you look "unusual" (which in my case means visibly not-cis) that's the first thing that people notice about you, that's how you get judged, and it's hard to challenge those pre-conceived notions. and i'm already v self-conscious about my weight and i don't want to make things /worse/ and it's hard... bluh

thinking a lot about hrt lately because of thinking about Bodies in general? it's really awkward and tricky trying to separate out my dysphoria from my dysmorphia and it's less of a desire to be read as male (especially since i'm not a man) so much as it is me seeing people with facial hair and being like "oh i want that"

@Glint idk about a film but there was a stage play! if you're interested in disabled actors i rec rappaport's work; he starred in "the wizard" which only ran for one season but iirc was the first american tv show to star an actor w/ dwarfism

@Glint i know v little about it but an actor ive been admiring a lot of late was in the illuminatus! trilogy and i am so, so sad that there don't seem to be any recordings of his performance
