"In Just 8 Weeks We Will Produce Tangible Recovery*"
(* if you dont' recover, it's because you didn't try hard enough)
It's a cheap, manufacturing-line approach to mental wellbeing; Therapies should produce tangible progress towards making you a Producitve Citizen in fixed timeframes, and the ones that don't are Inefficient and Useless.

@lambdagrrl This is rapidly becoming the case; Psychotherapies that are not 8 Week Courses in CBT and/or Mindfulness are slowly being whittled away from NHS Mental Health treatment.
First, they are locked behind mandatory courses in the above, which you must complete before referral to the manager who decides the next step.
Then.. Well, then they become all there is. :|
