Because I am a nerd, I have been thinking about the problem of building activist networks through the lens of graph theory.

(Thoughts so far: you want a connectivity significantly higher than the largest clique size, to prevent any group of people from colluding to manipulate the flow of information. This is not a property most networks have.)
