kitsch as a jakkai has grabbed onto you and doesn't want to let go. removing her is like trying to pull a very determined suction cup from a wall, complete with -sluuurrrrrp pop- noise

i wonder if i'd feel it was worth it to get screenshots and archive every lion outfit that i have saved or can remember

he used to have a wooden sword too but that got/gets swapped around with other outfits

i gotta wonder, is the only reason i believe lion exists somewhere: that i remember that feeling developing -before- i got tangled up in plural pondering, so it has something to it that's separate from my meddling?

i think i exaggerate those memories. i remember some feelings, but...

probably it is just: if any of this is 'real,' i'd hope it's lion. or someone who is basically lion.

idk. i noticed that thinking about him can put me into a sort of nonbinary-guy/demiboy feeling. is that a median/mirror thing? maybe?
or should i attribute that feeling to lion? probably not, because i tried that before and it didn't get me anywhere.

i don't know why i didn't turn myself in. maybe i was selfish. maybe i was ashamed. maybe i wanted to see what would happen. maybe i was denying my responsibility. maybe i felt special, or powerful. maybe i *liked* it.

and the eighth time... it was intentional. in an impulsive moment i thought that if i was going to be stuck absorbing everyone then i might as well absorb someone who i liked: a girl who i was fond of (a bipedal rhino, at a party). while we were shielded from view, i picked up and prodded her with her own sceptre. the spell activated and performed its work faster than before, but not so fast i couldn't see her face. her expression wasn't of fear or of confusion but of *anger*, and anger directed at *me*.

this went on for many weeks. the first time it happened (a new friend, i think i remember parchment nearby), i didn't know what to think or what had happened to her. the second time, i tried to stop it. the third, fourth, fifth times, i tried to get away. by the sixth, i'd realized there was nothing i could do.

i could never predict exactly when it would happen. i would try to stop it from carrying out, or try to leave before it could be completed, but i could feel that some malevolence wanted me to be the recipient and wouldn't let me avoid it, and nothing i could do could prevent it, and my attempts amused it.

most of the time, the victims were my friends or students i knew well, because of course i was more likely to be nearby them without others around, though not always since the whole school was a well-acquainted network and everybody knew everybody.

i was the only one who saw it happen. i saw it happen every time.

by unknown catalyst, these students would suddenly have some unknown magic cast on them by their own sceptre or other personal items of choice. they would be lifted helplessly in the air or driven to the ground, a look of fear or confusion on their faces, and a bright sigil, unique to each one, would slowly be drawn in the air in front of them. and then they would disappear, turning into light,.. and fly into me and be absorbed, and that was the end of them.
and they kept vanishing, and nobody knew why, including me. this hadn't happened before, and i wasn't doing anything new.
