if there's a budding friendship or relationship in a dream then it often carries into wakefulness for the next day. which is nice, but if they're a dream person then I'll never see 'em again, and if it's a real person then I keep remembering that nothing actually happened <<

idk, i feel like it could make for an interesting story and also open opportunities to deconstruct the "dark/light world" language and cliche
and the "light world" would be, as far as your character is concerned, the strange and dangerous one despite it being healthier and more pleasant.
is there a game with "light world / dark world" travel mechanics and story, except that the default world, the world your character lives in, is comparatively considered the "dark world."
