good news! as of this morning, i've decided to expand my domain to cover the entire earth. if you notice a tingling sensation in your fingertips, that's probably just your latent powers awakening.

this felt like a long day. not in that the time was spent unhappily, though it's always unnerving when my sense of time is weird. just one of those days where the front end feels disconnected from the back end.

i guess even though i don't typically think of Lion as 'me,' i am still content to use his character to represent myself in some contexts.

i can imagine him being energetically excited and friendly and bouncy and bubbly, but i can't imagine Rhea acting that way (and some behaviours are the inverse probably), so maybe that's where some of the flippy point occurs.

(he's also easier to drawer but i want to get used to doodling both of them anyway.)

so, each character/connection/soulbond/reflection/whatever only covers a certain area of expression. that's interesting to note. i think i've half-consciously noted it before, and distorted it <<

i had been trying to plan to learn to be more 'proper' with drawerings, but my mood has shifted to: for the most part i'd be happy if i can just do really simple absract but expressive stuff that doesn't look wonky. probably because long-term stuff always seems out of reach

going better but i still,,, don't want to try to finish it, probably because most of me is still wanting to avoid the inevitable self-wince when i post it

trying to drawer something simple and going 'hrrrrrgnnghhh' because of the usual reasons

re: alterhuman feelings about Lion and Rhea (not just the names but soulbondish stuff),

i -want- to be Rhea, and i feel sort of uncomfortable about that want. i guess because i know i'm not her, or because she's got external origins. Rhea sometimes feels like she is one approximation of 'me.'

i don't particularly want to be Lion, and i don't think i am, but he originated from me and so i guess i feel safer acting possessive of him. i generally assume he is separate but coexisting.

they're in the same category of "i don't know what this is, despite inconsistency it keeps coming up, i hate not knowing how much is just me leaning into it."

i suppose another layer to "what kind of boss fight are you" could be is,
would you be an average-sized but powerful enemy, a huge imposing enemy, an otherworldly enemy,
...there's probably others that i can't think of atm. (i'm not sure i ought to spend too much time thinking about this <<)

maybe it's just me that i feel like choosing only one of those isn't really going to feel right <<

*dream events, not dream debts. what an unpleasant thought!

i also dreamed of a cat detective. a regular cat, who was a detective, and who just happened to stumble upon a crime to solve in the dream debts. in a world where everyone was a regular animal who shared a language and a modern society.

among other things, i dreamed i was taking the SATs, and couldn't process even the first question. though part of the SATs was a precision platforming game and i did pretty good there.
