The medium flips a card. I lean over to read the label: THE FLIPPING CARD.

The card features a tiny illustration of a medium flipping a card and a tiny illustrated me reading the label.

"Is that good?"

The medium shrugs. "It's accurate."

So, there's a fairly well documented experiment in psychology, wherein the experimenter says "If you give me sets of three numbers, I can tell you whether or not they conform to a rule that I have in mind. I can tell you that {2,4,6} conforms to the rule, and {7,3,4} does not. Can you determine what the rule is?" If you want to search for it, "2-4-6 test" will find it, as will "Peter Cathcart Wason."

Y'all talking like the early internet had everything figured out, and modern e-Society is some kind of degenerate form of that gilded past. It wasn't that great.
