@oneiro honestly I think it would be cool to federate with social instances too...you'd want some kind of specialized streaming client but if the media was playable elsewhere I could totally see that being a cool addition to a general timeline

@oneiro i think I was thinking a person : a person so a local timeline would be your friend's shows and music discovery happens through the people your friends know...my college station was cliquey as fuck though lol. anyway it's a lovely analogy no matter how you slice it I think
