so @mus calls oulipo.social an "instantiation" following oulipo's constraint (no "e") but that's good-ass terminology for witches.town too

Seriously though, if you're looking for a primer to CHAOS MAGICKS(TM) and you want something a bit less religious, orig10.deviantart.net/abcd/f/2

This is fantastic, and also chapter 4 finally went up.

"software person"? sorry to nitpick, but the proper term is "softwitch"

I had a little accident with tarot decks the other day, so my current status is: Looking through The Dreaming Way deck one card at a time. Gorgeous.

all-day pu-erh instructions!

get some pu-erh tea. (McNulty's in NYC, i'm lookin' at you).

get a french press.

put 2 Tbl. loose pu-erh in the press & fill w/boiling h2O.

steep at least 5 min. pu-erh doesn't get bitter, it's meant to steep 24 hrs. that's the magic.

pour a cup & top off the pot w/h2O.

throughout the day, add some pu-erh to your mug. add hot h2O to mug & pot.

you now have tea concentrate! caffeine level goes down w/each cup. pu-erh is like tea-coffee, dark, rich, smooth.

somehow it is really appealing to me that we have this beautiful little community together in constant linguistic flux, in which the primary language is a function of the time of day

today's #veryshortrecipe is for @aquinton and her ketchup-addled eggs. presenting:
chimmichurri!
- lots of leafy herbs (parsley is trad, but cilantro, mint, & tarragon make good adds/subs)
- olive oil
- red wine vinegar
- one garlic clove
- dash cayenne

chop yr herbs super duper fine, and microplane/tinydice yr garlic. throw 'em in a bowl, dash pepper, add a glug of vin and cover the mess in olive oil until it looks like a sauce.

emulsify!! using a whisk + yr arm muscles or a blender. done!
