my dad recently gave us his 300+ disc record collection so this is kind of an oedipal exercise
"oldies" is a really complicated genre, semantically
only took us 15 minutes to get to the "me yelling angrily about Grace Jones" stage of this exercise
feeling really uneasy about our "post punk" vs "new wave" boundary
