there's something quite appropriate, I suppose, in burning a batch of cookies I was baking because I semi-forgot they were in the oven, went upstairs, and then started watching this superb French-language vocal arrangement of "Battle against a True Hero":

and then I was _going to play it again_ when I suddenly remembered I had something in the oven
Undyne would be proud of me

OK, I have to ask this question, it seems like a simple thing for someone to have tried
has anyone tried taking some kind of psychometric test, like a test designed to rate one's degree of depression or some other alteration of mood, that yields _some_ kind of numerical result ("how depressed are you on a scale of zero to ten" kind of thing), done it _every day_ for a _really_ long time, and then run a time-domain analysis on the results?
looked for evidence of periodic behavior?

@kitsch if it's possible, Kel's the one to manage it

I really did like that show
well, bits of it
yay freeee! *leaps into the air from xer hot-air balloon, wings outstretched, but they're too small to support flight and the sea-noodle plops unceremoniously to the ground below*
Hello, I.T.
Have you tried unbooping and booping it again?
for the love of all the gods I can think of and the ones I don't know about yet... entertain me
*grabs flashlight awkwardly, holding it with both wing-paws under xer head for spooky illumination* it's _midnight_
(plus a few minutes)
so, my girlfriend's advice is that spending money on Dragon or some other voice recognition software will be money wasted
I was hoping to speed up transcription of audio recordings but...maybe there's no real way to do it other than the old fashioned way?
advice anyone?
(...please?)
*more alert now, the little purple sea-noodle sends xer balloon sailing down close to the landscape of the fediverse, peering out at the multicolored lights and signs below, gleaming brightly in the darkness* hallooooo everyone! where am I?
*raises xer head sleepily from xer basket, blinks in confusion and looks around* wait, where did the Sun go
*drags xerself to the edge of the basket and looks out over the timeline, dim in the evening twilight* I wonder what's been going on while I was away
