LB: oh, I'd prefer any #Undertale or other fanfic recommendations for reading aloud to be nothing too lengthy, either, at least not at first

I've got a few favorites I might start out with if I don't get recommendations from folks but I'm hoping to get something I haven't seen yet

and this is reminding me that I desperately need more ritual space in my bedroom. this little strip of shelf above my computer really doesn't do very well and it's gotten mostly an assortment of vaguely magickal clutter, along with bits of things from my pockets or from around the room

and while I feel like Undertale and "Manon" were once again central to this experience, I also feel like my horizons have widened beyond that one source and font of determination.

I want to start branching out more, expanding my presence, stretching my wings a little at a time.

there's a lot I feel like I could say about what's happened today (er, yesterday actually, I mean mostly events that happened during 1 December) but I think maybe I should head to bed.

this has been one of the best days of my life. whether or not it has a lasting impact on how well I deal with my current job...well, we'll have to see. I've some hopes about coping with the job better, now.

anyway I'll think about putting a reading list together to read on YouTube stream

like, I was actually thinking of using this as a way to start reading more Undertale fanfic honestly, or fanfic in other universes that have some weight with me, like Steven Universe or Zootopia

just, like, pick a story or two a week and read them aloud on a YouTube stream

because it's so easy for me to get out of the habit of reading anything, even fanfic

like, I don't know what's good so I'd probably have to take recommendations

what if I did a sort of audio bookclub

where a couple times a week at least or even every day if I could find the time, I read stuff into an open mic

like, a few pages from a book at a time, or a short story, or something

as a stream, too, not a polished audio recording

and a lot of it has been rough, I've felt grief and lose worse than anything I've felt in my life, I've been frightened and disoriented almost to the point of losing my grip on sanity, but it's been worth it, every bit of it's been worth it

all because I started playing a video game last year

well, I suspect there was more to it than that, but...really...

The blue dragon's name is Nathan. He's friends with Jaryl & Jin, but he's a bit of a loner and very worldly-wise. He uses earth magic

i met up with a pack of actors at a bar tonight and i was still the most fabulous one there, some rando not in the group bought me a drink just to strike up a conversation. oh yeahhhh xibby's still got it ya'll

Here's some art from a card game that tried to do a kickstarter.

It sadly didn't meet goal, but they're just trying to get some personal funds now to release it.

I AM however allowed to show the art. I thought it turned out nice.

For this one they asked me to draw a "very dumb dragon called the Dargon."

also thinking of using this Discord server as a means to do something with all the various bits and pieces of Undertale fanwriting, or more like fanwriting plans, that have been swirling around in my head over the past year, always increasing in number and colliding with each other in my head and never resulting in any actual writing

like, I don't know that I'm _ever_ going to be able to write full-fledged stories with this material, so maybe the best outlet is RP-style
