BRING BEFORE ME WHAT IS MINE
THE SEVEN EARS OF RYE

@chara maybe if I'd said "sorghum" instead...or "millet"

@kel @chara Corn doesn't grow well in central Texas, so this time of year we have "corn" mazes that are actually sorghum mazes.

@chara @benhamill "the sorghum's as high as an elephant's eyyye..." they don't still CALL them "corn mazes" do they?

@kel @chara Often with a "maize" pun as well, yes. I think just because people aren't as familiar with wtf sorghum is.

@chara @benhamill I admit I barely know it myself, except that it can make a fair substitute for molasses

@kel @chara All I knows is that it grows in tall green stalks roughly like corn does and so is suitable for making rad mazes in the countryside.
