Folks, you cannot call no homo on this site. In fact this place is about more homo
I like how the federated timeline is out of order, not because an algorithm is trying to maximize my engagement but just because federation based on open standards is kind of a Rube Goldberg contraption

this is the future i always dreamed of!

the wonderful witches of witches.town have introduced me to the glyph ꙮ
it is "multiocular O", a variant of Cyrillic O that is used in certain religious texts in a phrase that translates to "many-eyed seraphim" and basically nowhere else
I honestly am having a hard time thinking of a single witchier Unicode character unless the Leviathan cross is hidden somewhere in the codeplanes
current #microbots applications:
1. https://glitch.com/edit/#!/translocation - watch a mastodon timeline and append to a hyperspace-log
2. https://glitch.com/edit/#!/aumbry - archive that hyperspace-log - archive the hyperspace-log
3. https://glitch.com/edit/#!/meow - subscribe to a hyperspace-log and exclaim 'meow' sometimes
a note on glitch.com #microbots
glitch restarts your app pretty much on every keystroke, so set a lint task ahead of your `package.json` `npm start` script to prevent restarts and silly bot explosions, like in https://glitch.com/edit/#!/aumbry
@oneiro that's a very nice display name
what's a good witchy word for library?
the moon is doing some kinda thing rn 🌕
I'm reading robert alter's translation of the psalms and learning for the first time about "vocalization" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiberian_vocalization i.e., writing down vowels to a text written in a script that doesn't require them. there's something very evocative about the idea—the translator essentially filling up the text with their own breath, like playing a musical instrument.
or making a balloon animal, I guess
the https://glitch.com interface looks really good full screen https://witches.town/media/atLQGzmqncHeccSHCuM
