@oneiro all the way across the country; I'll have to come back in a few months for the animals and the rest of my stuff, but I'm traveling light to find a home

I'm preparing for this move and I'm very anxious and excited all at once.

It seems like there should be more I need to take care of before leaving town, but really, I'm just traveling with a couple of suitcases?

I need to set up an alt where I can talk about us politics, because witches.town doesn't seem like the right place for it.

Like, I feel funny going out somewhere where the lights are low and the patrons are all outfitted in their courtly raiments. But this place had no pretension about being a homey restaurant that just wanted to fill your plate with great cuts and fries and veggies.

Just perfomed a serious act of self care and tried out the fancy new steak place to celebrate the new job. It'd been a long time since I went out by myself for a fancy meal. And it was hecking good
