@orangetronic @katje you can run linux in a chroot, which is still on top of ChromeOS and therefore only sorta-linux. Or you can just install Linux on the thing. See screenshot, this is Ubuntu https://darksocial.party/media/nQUX6TQqBu8IaDZ-D1I

@rustyk5 @katje nice. I've been thinking about setting myself up with a linux laptop for a while. was it a pain in the ass getting ubuntu running, or was it pretty straightforward?

@orangetronic @katje it's way better than it was the last time I used linux on a laptop, in 1999! I didn't have to write any drivers, and the touchscreen even works, right out of the box
